City Council Update: <br /> • Storm Water Impact Fund <br /> o Council approved a non-residential storm water impact fund. <br /> • Erosion Control Ordinance <br /> o At the September 26 Council meeting, Council will be considering amending the <br /> erosion control ordinance to reduce when permits are required from 10,000 SF of <br /> disturbance to 5,000 SF. <br /> Minnesota Department of Transportation Projects: <br /> • Lexington Avenue Bridge Construction <br /> o Lexington Avenue should be opened to traffic on September 29. <br /> o Work on the east bound ramps will continue through November. <br /> Major Maintenance Activities: <br /> • Paved a portion of the Victoria Ballfields parking lot at Central Park <br /> • Pathway maintenance <br /> • Mowing right of way <br /> • Ongoing general pavement patching continues. <br /> • Continue working on meter repairs and replacements_ We are down to 18 meters needing <br /> an upgrade to the new meter and radio. <br /> • Collected bacteriological water samples. <br /> • Continued with the 2016 sanitary sewer cleaning program. <br /> • Replaced hydrant at Dale St north of County Road B. <br /> • Repaired a valve along Marion, south of Minnesota. <br /> • Replaced the majority of the flooring in City Hall <br /> • Refurbished the lower level east side bathrooms in City Hall.
