Regular City Council Meeting <br />Monday, September 12, 2016 <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />Ayes: <br />Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee and Roe. <br />Nays: <br />None. <br /> <br />Mayor Roe presented the Proclamation to Ms. Parker and invited the Girl Scouts <br />to return to a future meeting to lead the Pledge of Allegiance. He encouraged <br />those present to view the display case and City Hall entrance monument that was <br />installed in 1987 on the Bicentennial of the Constitution. <br /> <br />Councilmember Willmus and the Council thanked Betty Wolfangle for her con- <br />tributions to Roseville. <br /> <br /> <br />c.Introduce Police Officer Thomas Hicke <br />Police Chief Mathwig read a brief bio and stated he is pleased to introduce Police <br />Officer Thom Hicke. <br /> <br />Officer Hicke thanked the Council for this opportunity and stated it is a true <br />pleasure and honor to work for one of the best Departments with the best officers <br />in the State. <br /> <br />Mayor Roe and the Council welcomed Officer Hicke and thanked him for his ser- <br />vice. <br /> <br /> <br />d.Proclaim Hispanic Heritage Month <br />Mayor Roe read in full a proclamation declaring September 15 to October 15, <br />2016, to be Hispanic Heritage Month in the Roseville. <br /> <br />Willmus moved, Laliberte seconded, proclaiming September 15 to October 15, <br />2016, as Hispanic Heritage Month in the Roseville adoption of the Proclamation. <br /> <br /> Roll Call <br />Ayes: <br />Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee and Roe. <br />Nays: <br />None. <br /> <br /> <br />7.Approve Minutes <br />Comments and corrections to draft minutes had been submitted by the City Council prior <br />to tonight’s meeting and those revisions were incorporated into the draft presented in the <br />Council packet. <br /> <br /> <br />a.Approve August 22, 2016, City Council Meeting Minutes <br />Etten moved, Willmus seconded, approval of the August 22, 2016, City Council <br />Meeting Minutes as amended. <br /> <br />Corrections: <br /> <br /> Page 20, Line 9 (McGehee) <br />Correct to remove the extra “she” after McGehee’s name <br /> <br />
