<br />5. Staff Report – A brief summary of any current topics will be provided. <br />i. Departure of Jeff Evenson, Parks Superintendent <br />Many of you have worked directly with Jeff Evenson, Park Superintendent <br />over the years. Jeff has been with the City for 15 years and was heavily <br />involved as the lead staff person for the Parks and Recreation Renewal <br />Program. He will be leaving the City on September 9 to begin a new <br />position with the City of Maple Grove as their Parks and Facilities <br />Superintendent. We thank Jeff for his service. <br /> <br />ii. Langton Lake Park Declining Oak Tree Area <br />There is an Oak Tree area near the Langton Lake Park Ballfields where <br />there are a number of Oak Trees that are ending their useful life. This area <br />is also experiencing ongoing erosion and compaction issues. Staff will be <br />prepared to describe this area, the issues and gather your thoughts. <br /> <br />6.
