Roll Call <br />Mayor Roe called the meeting to order at approximately 6:00 p.m. Voting and Seating <br />Order: Willmus, Etten, McGehee, Laliberte and Roe. City Manager Patrick Trudgeon <br />and City Attorney Mark Gaughan were also present. <br />2. Pledge of Allegiance <br />3. Approve Agenda <br />Etten moved, McGehee seconded, approval of the agenda as presented. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Willmus, Etten, McGehee, Laliberte and Roe. <br />Nays: None. <br />4. Public Comment <br />Mayor Roe called for public comment by members of the audience on any non-agenda <br />items. No one appeared to speak. <br />5. Council and City Manager Communications, Reports, and Announcements <br />Councilmember Etten announced Fire Prevention week activities during this week and <br />this year's theme: "Don't Wait, Check the Date." <br />Councilmember Laliberte announced the next Community Health Awareness Team <br />(CHAT) workshop topic on advanced care planning and health care documentation. <br />City Manager Trudgeon thanked Finance Director Chris Miller for filling in for him at <br />last week's City Council meeting while he attended the annual International City Manag- <br />er's Association (ICMA) conference in Kansas City, MO. Mr. Trudgeon provided a brief <br />summary of the professional workshops he attended; highlighted several keynote speak- <br />ers focusing on race, class and religion; and networking opportunities with colleagues to <br />learn best practices nationwide. Mr. Trudgeon thanked the City Council for allowing him <br />to attend the conference. <br />City Manager Trudgeon announced that the City of Roseville had been nominated for <br />several 2016 Leader in Local Government awards from the St. Paul Chamber of Com- <br />merce; one for planning and land zoning for the Twin Lakes redevelopment area, and an- <br />other for its regional communications efforts. Mr. Trudgeon provided information on <br />date and location of the awards ceremony. <br />City Manager Trudgeon read a letter from St. Michael's Lutheran Church addressed to <br />the City Council as part of the ELCA's Community Outreach Day, with young people <br />
