Motion passed unanimously.

Public Comment on Items Not on Agenda

Ms. Kathy Ramundt stated she has been working with Sherry Sanders and they have formed a
group called Do Good Roseville. Based on the work of the Human Rights Commission in
organizing conversations regarding race they have organized “Neighbor to Neighbor:
Conversations on Racism, #1 - Black Perspectives on Racism”. This is an informal safe place
for people to have a conversation. They are also working with the Library to host a three-part
series on Race: The Power of Illusion. They have had a problem arranging this with the Library
so they have arranged to have one part of the series shown at three different churches in the area.
These are scheduled for November 1 at Galilea Lutheran Church, 15 at Calvary Baptist, and 29
at the Church of Corpus Christi. If the Human Rights Commission would like to be involved
with this, they can be included in the next flyers that are sent out. They will continue to work
with the Library to schedule a showing in March. If there is anything the HRC would like to
assist with it would be appreciated.

Chair Groff stated it would be good to do a second showing of this series.

Old Business

a.Update on Mental Health Forum
