September 21, 2016 <br />Item 5.c <br />Human Rights Award <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />In 2015, the HRC created a recognition program that provides the community the opportunity to <br />nominate individuals, groups and organizations for meritoriousservice in the pursuit and <br /> <br />advocacy of human rights. Nominees must have performed services onbehalf of Roseville <br /> <br />residents or for Roseville residents. <br /> <br />The HRC has received two nominations for the 2016 Human Rights Award. Commissioners <br />Nicole Daily and Lauren Peterson are reviewing the nominations. They plan to make a <br />recommendation at the October Commission meeting. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
