Based on the work of the Human Rights Commission in
30
31
Conversations on Racism, #1 -
32
for people to have a conversation. They are also working with the Library to host a three three-
33
part series on Race: The Power of Illusion. They have had a problem arranging this with the
34
Library so they have arranged to have one part of the series shown at three different churches in
35
the area. These are scheduled for November 1 at Galilea Lutheran Church, 15 at Calvary
36
Baptist, and 29 at the Church of Corpus Christi. If the Human Rights Commission would like to
37
be involved with this, they can be included in the next flyers that are sent out. They will
38
continue to work with the Library to schedule a showing in March. If there is anything the HRC
39
would like to assist with it would be appreciated.
40
41
Chair Groff stated it would be good to do asecond showing of this series.
42
43
OldBusiness
44
a.Update onMental Health Forum
45
46
