Regular Planning Commission Meeting
Draft Minutes – Wednesday, November 2, 2016
Page 20
feedback was needed to help inform the needed discretion in molding language
970
for the city specific to what it would and would not allow. Therefore, Member
971
Cunningham suggested their feedback would be very helpful, including challenges
972
they found with the pods that may or may not be considered by the city (e.g. ease
973
of access with a temporary sidewalk or where located on a site) but that would
974
facilitate care of those using the pods. Member Cunningham thanked the CEC for
975
providing good suggestions.
976
Member Lloyd reviewed the “next steps” for staff that may include an introductory
977
article in an upcoming City News newsletter; developing a rough timeline for
978
initiating the feedback process; and building into future Planning Commission
979
meetings time for discussion to address a more defined process moving forward;
980
after which development of regulations could be considered if the community
981
indications are to proceed.
982
b.
