Attachment D <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of <br />1 <br />the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the __ day of <br />2 <br />__________ at 6:00 p.m. <br />3 <br />The following Members were present:____________; <br />4 <br />and ___ were absent. <br />5 <br />Council Member _________ introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />6 <br />adoption: <br />7 <br />RESOLUTION NO. ___ <br />8 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A MOTOR FREIGHT TERMINAL AS A <br />9 <br />CONDITIONAL USE AT 2500 COUNTY ROAD C <br />10 <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing <br />11 <br />regarding the proposed CU on December 2, 2016, voting _____ to <br />ONDITIONALSE <br />12 <br />recommend approval of the use based on public testimony and the comments and <br />13 <br />findings of the staff report prepared for said public hearing; and <br />14 <br />WHEREAS, the property located at 2500 County Road C is legally described as: <br />15 <br />PID # 082923220003 <br />16 <br />That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 8, <br />17 <br />Township 29, Range 23, described as follows: Commencing at the <br />18 <br />Northwest corner of said Section 8, thence East along the North line <br />19 <br />thereof629.00 feet, thence Southeasterly deflecting to right 84 degrees 20 <br />20 <br />minutes a distance of 834.41 feet to the Northerly line of the Northern <br />21 <br />Pacific Railroad; thence Southwesterly along said Northerly right of way <br />22 <br />line 705.51 feet to the West line of said Section 8, thence North along said <br />23 <br />West line 910.67 feet to the point of beginning. Ramsey County, Minnesota. <br />24 <br />Abstract Property <br />25 <br />26 <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that approval of the proposed <br />27 <br />CU to permit a motor freight terminal at 2500 County Road C pursuant to <br />ONDITIONALSE <br />28 <br />§1009.02.C of the City Code will not result in adverse impacts to the surrounding <br />29 <br />properties based on the following findings: <br />30 <br />a.The proposed use is not in conflict with the Comprehensive Plan. The 2030 <br />31 <br />Comprehensive Plan advances general/broad land use goals and policies for <br />32 <br />which the following are consistent with the proposed CU at 2500 County Road C: <br />33 <br />1.Policy 1.3: Ensure high-quality design, innovation, sustainability, and <br />34 <br />aesthetic appeal in private and public development and redevelopment, with <br />35 <br />emphasis on efficient site access, appropriately sized parking areas, and <br />36 <br />overall beautification through the adoption and utilization of year-round <br />37 <br />landscaping and site design standards, guidelines, principles, and other <br />38 <br />criteria. <br />39 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br /> <br />
