A Proposal for the 2040 Comprehensive Plan Update for the City of Roseville <br />LHB Experience <br />Parks and Recreation System Master Planning <br />City of Roseville <br />During the Imagine Roseville 2025 process - a <br />community visioning process conducted in 2006, <br />Roseville citizens identiÞ ed parks as one of their <br />communityÕs character-deÞ ning features and suggested <br />a vision of world-renown parks, open spaces, and <br />multi-generational recreation programs and facilities. <br />In 2009, LHB was hired to create a master plan that <br />would engage citizens, reÞ ne their vision for parks, and <br />establish a program of improvements to guide parks <br />and recreation investments and programming for the <br />next twenty years. <br />By the conclusion of the planning process, the parks <br />and recreation department contacted a signiÞ cant <br />Realizing a key element of the planning process is <br />public engagement, LHB crafted a multi-faceted percentage of the community through these techniques, <br />process that includes community-wide meetings, park building awareness of the process, the need for a <br />sector meetings, meetings in a box, listening sessions, strong park system, and eventually generating enough <br />questionnaires, and a nearly 30 person Community momentum to fund nearly $16M of improvements in <br />Advisory Team charged with guiding the process.2014 and 2015. <br />Consultant Prior Experience <br />16 <br /> <br />
