Therefore, if an organization was not limited by law to <br />a charitable organization within the community in which the premise permit was <br />issued, Mayor Roe questioned why current language required them to have a Ro- <br />seville address. <br />Councilmember McGehee concurred with Councilmember Willmus' interest in a <br />complete review and how charitable monies are spent by an arganization. <br />Mayor Roe clarified the purpose of the Roseville Community Foundation's over- <br />sight of the 10% in charitable gambling proceeds under the city's control under a <br />Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Foundation. <br />Willmus moved, McGehee seconded, TABLING action on this request to amend <br />Title Three, Chapter 3�4 (Lawful Gambling) for a broader ordinance review <br />based on tonight's discussion. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Willmus, Etten, McGehee, Laliberte and Roe. <br />Nays: None. <br />11. Public Aearing to Consider Approving 2017 Liquor License Renewals <br />Finance Director Miller referenced the revised RCA, attachecl to the meeting <br />packet, now seeking approval for renewal of twenty-seven different liquar licens- <br />es for 2017. Mr. Miller advised that staff recommended approval, subject to <br />completion of any outstanding background checks still in process. <br />Mayor Roe opened and closed the public hearing at approximately 7:04 p.m., with <br />no one appearing for or against. <br />McGehee moved, Etten seconded, approval of the requested liquor license renew- <br />als for 2017 as detailed in the RCA of today's date (AttachmentA as revised). <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Willmus, Etten, McGehee, Laliberte and Roe. <br />Nays: None. <br />13.
