<br /> January 18, 2017 <br />Item 5.D <br />Collaboration with RAHS <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />At the October meeting, the commission approved collaborating with the Roseville Area High <br />School on the One World multi-cultural event that will take place on Wednesday, April 26. <br /> <br />At the November meeting the commission approved up to $150 to offset costs for the multi- <br />cultural event. The high school has held several planning meetings. Staff attended one meeting <br />and has been communicating with the planners. Staff processed a check for $150 using money <br />from the 2016 HRC budget. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />The high school students will meet at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25 to discuss plans. <br />Commissioners are invited to attend. <br /> <br />The commission is asked to identify commissioners who can help with set up, clean up, staffing <br />tables and other activities, as needed on the day of the event. <br /> <br />The commission can also have an informational table at the event. Commissioners are asked to <br />decide whether to have a table, and if so, what information to make available. <br /> <br />Staff will help the high school in promoting the event once details are arranged. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
