Roseville Public Works, Environment and <br />Transportation Commission <br />Agenda Item <br />Date: October 25, 2016 <br />Item Description: Communication Items <br />Item No: 4 <br />Public Works Project updates: <br />• Twin Lakes Parkway Phase III and Twin Lakes Area Signals <br />o Extension of Twin Lakes Parkway from Prior Ave to Fairview Ave and <br />construction of traffic signal at Fairview Ave. and Twin Lakes Parkway. <br />• All underground work is completed and the curb and gutter is installed. <br />• Sidewalks and lighting are currently being installed. <br />• Fairview signal will likely be installed in late October. <br />• Due to delays in utility relocates, Twin Lakes Parkway will likely open in <br />November. <br />• 2016 Pavement Management Project <br />o City's annual mill and overlay project. This year approximately 7 miles of roads <br />will be repaved <br />• Heinel Drive is the only portion of the project that is not substantially <br />completed. Work should be completed by November 4. <br />• Project is over 90% completed. <br />• Attachment B shows areas that are completed. <br />Wheeler Street Closure/County Road D <br />o Council approved the road closure of Wheeler Street at County Road D. <br />o County Road D is currently being reconstructed by the Developer of Presbyterian <br />Homes in Arden Hills <br />o New road with curb and gutter, storm sewer and the Wheeler Road closure should <br />be completed by November 4. <br />Parks Renewal Pathways <br />o Staff is working on constructing seven new pathway segments with Park Renewal <br />funds. See attachment C for map of proposed locations. <br />• Dale Street— Sandhurst to County Rd B (east side) —Public Works staff <br />has graded the sidewalk. A concrete contractor will install the sidewalk in <br />the near future. <br />Lexington Ave — County Rd B to Parker Ave (east side) — Likely will be <br />constructed in October 2016. <br />• Cleveland Lift Station <br />o Lift station replacement project at Cleveland & Brenner. <br />o Opening bids in November <br />South Lake Owasso Drainage Improvements <br />o Pave Drain installation on Owasso Private Drive <br />o Opening bids in November <br />• 2017 Lining Project <br />
