Roseville Public Works, Environment and <br />Transportation Commission <br />Agenda Item <br />Date: November 29, 2016 <br />Item Description: Communication Items <br />Item No: 4 <br />Public Works Project updates: <br />• Twin Lakes Parkway Phase III and Twin Lakes Area Signals <br />o Extension of Twin Lakes Parkway from Prior Ave to Fairview Ave and <br />construction of traffic signal at Fairview Ave. and Twin Lakes Parkway. <br />• All work on Twin Lakes Parkway is completed other than the new signal <br />and related work at Fairview Avenue. <br />• 2016 Pavement Management Project <br />o City's annual mill and overlay project. This year approximately 7 miles of roads <br />will be repaved <br />• Project is completed. <br />Parks Renewal Pathways <br />o Staff is working on constructing seven new pathway segments with Park Renewal <br />funds. <br />• Public Works staff and a concrete contractor completed the new sidewalk <br />segments on Dale Street — Sandhurst to County Rd B (east side) and on <br />Lexington Ave — County Rd B to Parker Ave (east side) as part of the Park <br />Renewal Sidewalk program. Additional pathways will be constructed next <br />summer. <br />• Cleveland Lift Station <br />o Lift station replacement project at Cleveland & Brenner. <br />o Council is scheduled to award the project to Ramsey Excavating on November 28 <br />in the amount of $515,000. Some work may begin this fall with the majority of <br />the work taking place next spring. <br />• South Lake Owasso Drainage Improvements <br />o Pave Drain installation on Owasso Private Drive <br />o Council is scheduled to award the project to Ramsey Excavating on November 28 <br />in the amount of $346,324. This work will take place next spring. <br />• 2017 Lining Project <br />o Estimated to line 5.5 miles of sanitary sewer main and 0.1 miles of storm sewer <br />o Council is scheduled to award the project to Insituform on November 28 in the <br />amount of $759,641. This work will take place next spring. <br />City Council Update: <br />City Campus Solar Project: At their November 14u' meeting, the City Council voted not <br />to enter into a Letter of Intent with Sundial Solar for the installation of a solar array on <br />the roof of City Hall and the Maintenance Facility. The Council cited the potential <br />repuporsing of the Maintenance Facility in its decision. They asked that staff bring back a <br />similar proposal once the City Council had reached a decision on the direction of the <br />
