location of the Roseville License and Passport Service Center. The Council has given <br />staff direction to relocate the Service Center into a City owned facility. Staff will be <br />continuing discussions on the Service Center and the long term seasonal storage needs of <br />Public Works and Parks and Recreation on December 51'. <br />• Recycling Contract: Council approved a five-year contract with Eureka Recycling which <br />will include revenue sharing. <br />• I&I Grant Update: We received notice from the Metropolitan Council that the City of <br />Roseville will be receiving $277,055.36 in the form of a reimbursement grant for work <br />related to I/I reduction within the City. This amount is more than the original anticipated <br />grant amount of $245,266.27. The purpose of this grant is to partially reimburse Cities <br />for completed work that reduces UL Over the last 3 years Roseville has spent an average <br />of $973, 224 each year on pipe replacement, pipe lining, and pipe rehabilitation to reduce <br />I/I and also to reinforce the structural stability of our buried sanitary sewer utilities. We <br />also completed over $200,000 of flood mitigation projects that were directly adjacent to <br />areas of high UI. <br />Ramsey County Projects: <br />• 2017 Mill and Overlay Projects <br />o County will be holding a public open house on December 1, 2016 from 5-7 PM at <br />Roseville City Hall Council Chambers to discuss proposed lane configuration <br />changes for two pavement resurfacing projects in 2017 <br />• Cleveland Avenue, Iona Lane — Glen Paul Ave (Arden Hills) <br />• County Road B, Dale Street to Rice Street <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation Projects: <br />• Lexington Avenue Bridge Construction <br />o All bridge work is completed and all ramps are open as of November 19. <br />• MnDOT will be rehabilitating the pavement on Snelling Ave between Como Ave in St <br />Paul to Highway 36 in Roseville. As a part of this project MnDOT will be adding a <br />second northbound left turn lane at the Snelling and County Road B intersection. This <br />will then match the dual left turn lane for the southbound direction at the same <br />intersection. <br />Major Maintenance Activities: <br />• Completed the fall vacuum and sweep of all roads and parking lots <br />• Completed sidewalk and street patch work <br />• Snow plow fleet was equipped and equipment calibrated. <br />• Miscellaneous sign work <br />• Continue working on meter repairs and replacements. <br />• Collected bacteriological water samples. <br />• Continued with the 2016 sanitary sewer cleaning program. <br />• Replaced hydrant at Dale St north of County Road B. <br />• Repaired a valve on Victoria and County Road C. <br />• Repaired broken water mains at 2255 Laurie Rd., 1266 Sandhurst, 882 Millwood, 2047 <br />Marion St., & 2170 Dale St. <br />• Manually pumped down hydrants that do not drain. <br />• Pumped down storm water ponds to winter levels. <br />Attachments: <br />A: 2016 Project Map <br />B: Development Activity Report <br />
