Authorization to Seek Donations for Various City Functions and Events <br />McGehee moved, Etten seconded, authorization for the City Manager or his de- <br />signee to solicit support via fonnal written request to coinmunity groups and <br />businesses for various city fiinctions and special events as detailed in the RCA of <br />today's date. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: McGehee, Willinus, Laliberte, Etten and Roe. <br />Nays: None. <br />j. Authorize Design Services for the Replacement of Cedarholm Golf Course <br />Clubhouse <br />Councilmember McGehee noted conversations and consideration of various major <br />expenditures during a given year, often for good opportunities, but stressed the <br />need for broader coinmunity and facility planning for overall expenditures versus <br />doing so in a pieceineal fashion (e.g. License Center) and in relationship to this <br />particular request for replacement of the chibhouse. <br />McGehee moved, Etten seconded, authorizing the Mayor and City Manager to en- <br />ter into a professional services agreement with (Attachinent B) with Hagen, Chris- <br />tensen & McIlwain Architects for design services as referenced in Attachinents A <br />and C for replacement of the Cedarholm Golf Course Clubhouse; at a cost for <br />those services not to exceed $33,490 to be funded from the Golf Course Fund; <br />and contingent upon City Attorney review and approval. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: McGehee, Wilhnus, Laliberte, Etten and Roe. <br />Nays: None. <br />k. Approve a Conditional Use Pursuant to �Y'able 1006-1 and Chapter 1009 of <br />the City Code to Allow a Motor Freight Terminal at 2500 County Road C <br />(PF16-027 <br />City Manager Trudgeon noted a revised resolution presented as a bench handout <br />and made part of the RCA, specifically revising line 138 as recoinmended by the <br />Planning Commission, inserting the language "undergoing maintenance." <br />McGehee moved, Etten seconded, adoption of Resolution No. 11390 (Attachmerct <br />C as Nevisecl) entitled, "A Resolution Approving a Motor Freight Terminal as a <br />Conditional Use as 2500 County Road C." <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: McGehee, Willmus, Laliberte, Etten and Roe. <br />
