(Ord. 275, 5-12-59) <br /> <br />NURSERY SCHOOLS: A public or private facility, licensed by the state, the principal function <br />of which is to provide an educational experience outside of the family home for five (5) or more <br />children of preschool age. <br /> <br />NURSING HOME: A state licensed establishment having accommodations for the continuous <br />care of two (2) or more invalid, infirm, aged convalescent patients or disabled persons that are <br />not related. <br /> <br />OFFICE SHOWROOM: A facility in which up to 50% of the total floor area is utilized for the <br />conduct of a business that involves the display and sale of good or merchandise on the premises. <br /> <br />OFFICE WAREHOUSE: a facility in which up to 50% of the total floor area is utilized for the <br />conduct of a business that involves the storage and distribution of goods or merchandise from the <br />premIses. <br /> <br />PARKING SPACE: A nonpermeable surface located in a permanently maintained area, either <br />within or outside of a building, of sufficient size to store one automobile. (Ord. 878, 3-23-81; <br />amd. 1995 Code) <br /> <br />PARKING STRUCTURE: An non-occupiable accessory structure used to park vehicles in <br />multiple stories and which is not considered a part of the building coverage of the site. <br /> <br />PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD): See Chapter 1008. <br /> <br />PRINCIPAL STRUCTURE: The main structure for that use to which the premises are devoted <br />and principal purposes for which the premises exist. <br /> <br />RECREATIONAL VEmCLE: Any properly and currently licensed vehicular, portable <br />structure which is (a) built on a chassis, designed to be used as a temporary dwelling for travel, <br />recreational and vacation uses; (b) any structure designed to be mounted on a truck chassis for <br />use as a temporary dwelling for travel, recreation and vacation; (c) any portable, temporary <br />dwelling to be used for travel, recreation and vacation, constructed as an integral part of a self- <br />propelled vehicle; and (d) any folding structure, mounted on wheels and designed for travel, <br />recreation and vacation use. <br /> <br />RESIDENTIAL BOUTIQUE SALE: The sale of handcrafted items conducted on residential <br />premises, where the items sold are made by the occupant of the premises at which the sale takes <br />place, or by friends of such occupant, and where the sale is conducted by said occupant or <br />friends of such occupant and not by an agent or any other person to whom a commission, fee or <br />salary is paid. Items for sale shall be made in the home and not purchased for resale from any <br />retail or wholesale business source nor received on consignment for the purpose of resale.
