As noted in the consent agenda dis- <br /> cussion, even though one year remained on Mr. Trudgeon's initial four-year contract, <br /> Mayor Roe noted that the City Council had offered him a five-year contract continuing <br /> wages and benefits with a slight change to the termination clause provision; and authoriz- <br /> ing step and COLA increases. <br /> On behalf of the community and City Council, Mayor Roe publicly thanked City Man- <br /> ager Trudgeon for the good job. <br /> City Manager Trudgeon thanked the City Council, community and staff for their confi- <br /> dence and support. <br /> City Manager Trudgeon provided an update to the public and City Council on the deer <br /> reduction program authorized by the city in working with the United States Department <br /> of Agriculture (USDA) to reduce the deer herd. Mr. Trudgeon reported that twenty deer <br /> had been eliminated recently at three locations in Roseville. <br /> City Manager Trudgeon announced that City Council pictures were planned prior to the <br /> February 27, 2017 meeting with the group photo planned at approximately 5:30 p.m.; and <br /> individual shots arranged for if requested. <br /> Mayor Roe announced that the SE Roseville/Larpenteur group would be meeting later <br /> this week to review consultant proposals to guide the engagement process for that area; <br /> with $100,000 in funding committed by the involved municipalities. <br /> For those stakeholders participating in the CTV Strategic Plan process over the last few <br /> months, with facilitation by consultant Barbara Raye who met with all member cities and <br /> school boards, Mayor Roe invited those stakeholders and the public to attend the upcom- <br /> ing meeting to hear that strategic plan and provide further feedback for its refinement. <br /> 11. Councilmember Initiated Future Agenda Items and Future Agenda Review <br /> As displayed for the viewing public, City Manager Trudgeon noted upcoming interviews <br /> for commission vacancies, with the deadline to apply on February 20, 2017 and inter- <br /> views scheduled for February 27, 2017. <br /> 12.
