Commonie terns <br />Public Wor irector Culver and Assistant Public Works Director Freihammer <br />provided additional comments and a brief review and update on projects, <br />maintenance activities, and City Council actions listed in the staff report dated <br />February 28, 2017. <br />Discussion included a surplus of salt so far for next season, providing financial <br />and material considerations but representing only a minimal impact on the overall <br />Public Works/Engineering budget that was projected and adjusted annually; <br />stability of road salt over time compared to the less and unknown stability or <br />possible spoilage of the organic beet juice received in large plastic containers and <br />
