s An MDA certified firewoad producer in Carltan Caunty was recertified and is one af the five MDA certified <br />firewaod praducers in the state. The USpA certified firewoad producer out of Olmsted County was aiso <br />recertified. <br />4 Seventy (7p) firewood surveys were cpnducted at retail lacations araund the state, Any potential labeling <br />violations are forwarded to the Department af Cammerce. <br />• A warning letter was issued to an individual wha violated the quarantine with a trailer full of ash brush. <br />• Three (3) public meetings were held for the counties with new infestations. The Dodge Caunty public meeting <br />was weli attended with 35 attendees. There were two public meetings for the partial St. Louis County <br />quarantine. A total of 89,501 wasps were released at 12 <br />sites in Minnesota. The 2016 field seasan marked the first time 5pathius galinae was released in Minnesota. S. <br />galinae is a newly approved larva� parasitoid originating from the Russian Far East and was released at 3 sites <br />located along the Mississippi River in the Twin Cities.
