Cedarholm Golf Course Clubhouse Replacement Process <br />6. <br />Dave Holt, Advisory Team Facilitator presented their final report to the City Council on <br />Monday, September 26, 2016. <br />The City Council wasvery impressed by the overall thorougness of thereport. They <br />authorized staff to work with you to seek adesign consultant to develop conceptsfor the <br />site and for the clubhouse replacement project. As this is moving forward, staff will plan to <br />continue to work with representativeCommissioners GelbachandStoner. <br />Enclosed is a copy of a draft scope of work for a consultant for your review and input. <br />This topic will be a regular agenda item each month in order to keep the full Commission <br />updated, allow for continued community input and to gather your advice. <br />Since the City had relatively recently went through arigorous Best Value consultant <br />selection process for the Renewal Program,discussions have occurredabout the <br />possibility of consideringone of the Renewal Program consultantsfor the Clubhouse <br />project.That approach is being explored and your feedback at the meeting would be <br />appreciated. <br />Requested Commission Action:Review, update, provide feedback. <br />Staff Report – <br />7.A brief summary of any current topics will be provided. <br />a)Lake Johnson, Recreation Supervisor - will be at your meeting to be <br />introduced and will provide an overview ofgeneralprograms under her <br />direction. <br />The 2017 budget still includesfunding foran outreach program for Southeast <br />Roseville. Assuming that will remain in the budget, Lake has been working on <br />planning and developing that program and will provide you with an update <br />and gather your advice. <br /> <br />b)1716 Marion Street - The City recently closed on 1716 Marion Street. Staff <br />and the Commission will be working with others toformulate a planning <br />process for the park.Please be prepared to have a preliminary discussion. <br />c) Tamarack Park Playground Replacement – As you are aware, the Tamarack <br />Park Playground was scheduled to be replaced as part of the Renewal <br />Program. A community meeting was held when the Renewal Program began <br />but the project was put on hold due to area residentconcerns and then things <br />got extremely busy with the Renewal Program and we did not get back to it <br />yet. We are now ready to start the planning again forthe playground <br />replacement anticipating meetings to be held in January/February timeframe <br />having a design in place for the 2017 construction season. <br />d)Deer Hunt - At the October 24, 2016 City Council meeting, theyauthorized a <br />deer hunt.
