АВ <br />Holt called for action on the recommendation to hire a design company as the first step in moving <br />БЉ <br />forward. <br />БЊ <br />Commissioner Heikkila <br />БЋ <br />that the theme and colors could be similar to the other Park Buildings in Roseville. <br />БЌ <br />Commissioner she was present at the August 16, 2016 public meeting and she <br />БЍ <br />appreciated that several members of the committee presented the final report. <br />БЎ <br />Commissioner Warzecha asked about the idea that Roseville Historical Society would occupy <br />БЏ <br />some of the space. Holt confirmed that the Advisory Committee believed that it could be a <br />БА <br />potential option pursued during the design phase. The Commission discussed the potential of <br />ББ <br />having the Historical Society or other community groups share the space. <br />БВ <br />Commission Chair Newby questioned space options and what has been considered. Holt <br />ВЉ <br />confirmed that the Advisory Committee discussed Cedarholm fitting a meeting space need that is <br />ВЊ <br />currently not available in Roseville. The Advisory Team suggested that the building should <br />ВЋ <br />potentially accommodate approximately 80 people. Specific designs and specific uses would be <br />ВЌ <br />decided during the design phase. <br />ВЍ <br />ВЎ <br />and a difference of opinion at the Advisory Meetings. He suggested not to <br />ВЏ <br />just make another park building. Brokke confirmed that it would not be a duplicate of the park <br />ВА <br />buildings. Rather, that you would know it is a Roseville building. <br />ВБ <br />Brokke confirmed that this will go to the City Council on September 26 th. Holt will again present <br />ВВ <br />the report and will ask the Council to adopt the report and request for the pursuance of design <br />ЊЉЉ <br />services. <br />ЊЉЊ <br />Anfang thanked Greg Hoag for taking time out to attend the meeting tonight. She confirmed the <br />ЊЉЋ <br />Commission packet was sent to the Advisory Team members so they are aware of next steps for <br />ЊЉЌ <br />the Final Report. <br />Commission Recommendation: <br />ЊЉЍ <br />Commissioner Becker-Finn moved to send the Cedarholm Final Report to the City <br />ЊЉЎ <br />Council along with the <br />ЊЉЏ <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />ЊЉА <br /> <br />5.STAFF REPORT <br />ЊЉБ <br />Parks and Recreation Director, Brokke Reports: <br />ЊЉВ <br />Departure of Jeff Evenson, Parks Superintendent- <br />ЊЊЉ <br />Jeff Evenson will no longer be with Roseville Parks and Recreation as of this Friday, <br />ЊЊЊ <br />September 9, 2016. Evenson has been with the City of Roseville since 2001. He has <br />ЊЊЋ <br />completed many landscaping projects throughout Roseville, including the Orchard and <br />ЊЊЌ <br />Muriel Sahlin Arboretum. In addition, he was involved with a number of complex <br />ЊЊЍ <br />projects including serving as the staff lead on the Parks and Recreation Renewal <br />ЊЊЎ <br />Ќ <br /> <br /> <br />
