Advisory Team Mission <br />1 <br />To engage Roseville in the replacement of the Cedarholm Clubhouse in a well thought-out, efficient, <br />2 <br />functional way that meets the needs of the community today and for generations to come. <br />3 <br /> <br />4 <br />Purpose <br />5 <br />The purpose of the Cedarholm Golf Course Clubhouse Advisory Teamwas to; <br />6 <br />Study, analyze and guide the replacement of the Cedarholm Golf Course Clubhouse <br />7 <br />Gather input from community members and users that provides direction for planning and design <br />8 <br />Align clubhouse design and rebuild with the current Parks and Recreation Master Plan <br />9 <br /> <br />10 <br />Process <br />11 <br />Advisory Team Focus <br />12 <br />To engage the community, identify funding options and opportunities, explore partnerships, create a <br />13 <br />preliminary building function concept as it relates to the replacement of the clubhouse, and learn more <br />14 <br />from and about other communities resulting in a findings report and recommendations to the City Council. <br />15 <br /> <br />16 <br />Advisory TeamTask <br />17 <br />Develop an understanding of the current physical capacity of the Cedarholm Golf facility. <br />18 <br />Examine financial, business, market and industry trends. <br />19 <br />To the greatest extent possible, provide unbiased insights and ideas from a third point-of-view (not <br />20 <br />involved in the operation of the golf course). <br />21 <br />Encourage and support the exploration of new business ideas. <br />22 <br />Provide “wise counsel” on issues raised by citizens, City Council and golf course management. <br />23 <br />Conduct initial brainstorming exercises to assist future design professionals and architects <br />24 o <br />Generate as many spontaneously contributed ideas as possible from Advisory Team <br />25 <br />membership.Extend or addto ideas, reserving criticism for a later “critical stage”of <br />26 <br />the process. <br />27 <br />Identify specific clubhouse replacement concerns and opportunities. <br />28 o <br />Recommend a sustainable course of action that will have minimal impact on city taxes and is doable <br />29 <br />within the given budgets and timing parameters. <br />30 <br /> <br />31 <br />Advisory Team Deliverables <br />32 <br />Advisory Team Final Report <br />33 <br />Presentation of Final Report to the Roseville Parks and Recreation Commission <br />34 <br />Presentation of Final Report to the Roseville City Council <br />35 <br />36 <br /> <br />37 <br /> 2 <br />Cedarholm Clubhouse Replacement Advisory Team <br /> <br /> <br />
