Youth Commissioner: <br />139 <br />Youth Commissioner Bogenholm has provided notice that he will no longer be on the <br />140 <br />Roseville Parks and Recreation Commission. The city will post for a replacement <br />141 <br />Commissioner. <br />142 <br />CountyRd. B and Cleveland Ave. Property <br />143 <br />Brokke relayed that a purchase agreement for a new park is being presented to the <br />144 <br />Roseville City Council. The new park is a .79 parcel at the corner of County Rd. B and <br />145 <br />Cleveland Ave. The site was identified in the master plan as a vacant lot to consider <br />146 <br />acquiring for park use. <br />147 <br />Commissioner Becker-Finn confirmed that it would be beneficial to have an additional <br />148 <br />park in that area as she was a previous resident. <br />149 <br />Parks and Recreation Assistant Director, Anfang Reports: <br />150 <br />The 2015 Parks and Recreation Annual Report is now available. Highlights of the 2015 <br />151 <br />report include: <br />152 <br />9% Increase in on-line registrations <br />153 <br />More than 18,000 visitors were hosted at the Harriet Alexander Nature Center <br />154 <br />Commissioner Heikkila asked if the Annual Report will be available for the pubic. <br />155 <br />Anfang statedthat it will be available on the City of Roseville website. <br />156 <br />General Discover Your Parks (DYP) updates were provided by Anfang. Commissioner <br />157 <br />O’Brien stated that she feels a booth at the DYP events would be easier to engage the <br />158 <br />public and that a sign-up list would be a good idea to ensure a Commissioner is always <br />159 <br />there to represent the group. Anfang committedto circulating an e-mail sign-up sheet. <br />160 <br />Update on Rosefest: The parade is closed for additional participants. The City of <br />161 <br />Roseville Parks and Recreation Department is preparing for the upcoming Medallion <br />162 <br />Hunt. <br />163 <br />8.OTHER <br />164 <br />Commissioner Becker-Finn provided updates on: <br />165 <br />Progress on the pathway project on Victoria from County Road C to County Road <br />166 <br />D <br />167 <br />Zinnia’s are starting to bloom on the Blooming Boulevard <br />168 <br />Commissioner Bole thanked Director Brokke for the tour of the Roseville Park System <br />169 <br />last week. <br />170 <br /> <br />
