March 29, 2017 <br />Item 5.A <br />Subcommittee to combine HR and CE Commissions <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />In February, the City Council approved a motion to combine the Human Rights Commission and <br />the Community Engagement Commission. <br /> <br />Mayor Dan Roe and Councilmember Lisa Laliberte are facilitating meetings to combine the <br />commissions. Commissioners Nicole Daily and Lauren Peterson volunteered to represent the <br />HRC. Commissioners Chelsea Holub and Michelle Manke volunteered to represent the CEC. <br /> <br />The committee will begin meeting soon to discuss roles and responsibilities of a new <br />commission. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
