EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING

<br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE
<br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
<br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 24th day of April, 2017, at
<br /> 6:00 p.m.
<br /> The following members were present: Laliberte, McGehee, Willmus,Etten and Roe and the
<br /> following were absent: none.
<br /> Member Etten introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
<br /> RESOLUTION No. 11412
<br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS
<br /> FOR 2017 PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROJECT
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans
<br /> and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were
<br /> received on Thursday, April 14, at 10:00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the
<br /> following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

<br /> Park Construction Co. $2,888,622.69
<br /> North Valley, Inc. $2,917,259.71
<br /> Hardrives, Inc. $2,967,067.00
<br /> Asphalt Surface Technologies Corp. $3,096,045.00
<br /> Bituminous Roadways, Inc. $3,119,098.30
<br /> C.S. McCrossan Construction, Inc. $3,222,195.75
<br /> Engineer's Estimate $3,300,494.25
<br /> WHEREAS, it appears that T.A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. of North St Paul, Minnesota, is the
<br /> lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of$2,877,613.82.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville,
<br /> Minnesota:
<br /> 1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a
<br /> contract with T.A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. for $2,877,613.82 in the name of the City of
<br /> Roseville for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications
<br /> thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City
<br />
