<br /> <br />Community Engagement Commission Meeting Minutes <br />March 6, 2017 <br /> <br />1.Roll Call <br /> <br />Vice Chair Chelsea Holub called the meeting to order at approximately 5:30 <br />p.m. and City Manager Trudgeon called the roll. <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: Vice Chair Chelsea Holub; and Commissioners Erik <br />Tomlinson, Peter Sparby, and Michelle Manke <br />Commissioners Absent: Chair Scot Becker and Commissioner Amber <br />Sattler <br />Staff Present: Staff Liaison/City Manager Patrick Trudgeon <br /> <br />2.Approve Agenda <br /> <br /> <br />Motion <br />Commissioner Sparby moved, Commissioner Manke seconded, <br />approval of the agenda as presented. <br /> <br />Ayes: 4 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />3.Public Comment on Items Not on Agenda <br /> <br /> <br />4.Approval of February 9, 2017 Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Comments and corrections to draft minutes had been submitted by various CEC <br />Commissioners prior to tonight’s meeting and those revisions were <br />incorporated into the draft presented in tonight’s agenda packet. <br /> <br />Motion <br />Commissioner Tomlinson moved, Commissioner Sparby seconded, <br />approval of February 9, 2017 meeting minutes as presented. <br /> <br />Ayes: 4 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />5.New Business <br /> <br /> <br />a.Appointment of Representatives from the Community <br /> <br />Engagement Commission to work with the City Council <br />subcommittee on the combination of the CEC and Human Rights <br />Commission (HRC) <br />City Manager Trudgeon briefly reviewed recent City Council action to <br />combine the current CEC and HRC advisory commissions into one group; <br />and their subsequent request that each group respectively appoint two <br />representatives to assist the City Council subcommittee in that effort. <br /> <br />While no meetings have been scheduled at this time as detailed in the <br />staff report of March 2, 2017, City Manager Trudgeon noted that work <br /> <br />
