Please note that in each category, the law enforcement agency's proceeds must be used "as a supplement to the agenG¥' s operating flmd or similar fund for use in law enforcement." <br />I would not categorize any capital improvement projects as part of the RVPD's operating fund or a similar fund for use in <br />law enforcement <br />Also, from a policy perspective, I would advise that the City use extreme caution iri characterizing anything involving future police forfeiture funds as "reliable." The issue is a touchy political subject these days, wi1h dramatic cuts to <br />forfeiture policies on the table.
