Finance Commission 1 Meeting Minutes 2 DRAFT – JUNE 13, 2017 - DRAFT 3 4 5 Roll Call/Announcements 6 7 The Finance Commission (FC) meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. Chair Schroeder called 8 the roll. 9 10 Commissioners Present: Robin Schroeder, Peter Zeller, John Bachhuber, Matt Harold, Edwin 11 Hodder, Malcom McRoberts and John Murray 12 13 Commissioners Absent: None. 14 15 Staff Present: Finance Director Miller 16 17 Chair Schroeder stated she had attended training and it had been brought up that the emails the 18 Commission receives could be included in the Commission’s meeting packets so that it would 19 become part of the record. 20 21 Commissioner Zeller moved, Seconded by Commission Hodder, to include emails received by 22 the Commission in the meeting packets. The motion carried unanimously. 23 24 25 Receive Public Comments 26 27 There being no one wishing to address the Commission on items not on the agenda, Chair 28 Schroeder moved to the next item. 29 30 31 Approval of the May 9, 2017 Meeting Minutes 32 33 Commissioner Murray stated in line 41 insert “it is” prior to “rescinded”, line 92 should read 34 “mark to market”, line 271 change “he” to “the”, and line 275 change “sated” to “stated”. 35 36 Chair Schroeder stated line 228 change “tot eh” to “to the”, line 296 change “buy” to “by”, 308 37 change “he” to “the”. 38 39 Commissioner McRoberts clarified the intention of his remarks about IT security had been to 40 bring it up as something the City should pay attention to and he would like this to be reflected in 41 line 302-302 by having it include “Commissioner McRoberts highlighted the value of paying 42 attention to security” because he had not asked a specific question about the City’s security 43 measures about financial data. 44 45 Item #3: Attachment A
