July 19, 2017 <br />Item 6c. <br />City Engagement Efforts <br />Background <br />The commission has requested information regarding city engagement efforts at each meeting. <br />Listed below are the upcoming engagement activities. <br />Discover Your Parks <br />Discover all that Roseville parks have in store for you. Roseville Parks and Recreation invites you <br />to free family fun at neighborhood parks this summer. <br />Learn about the wonderful amenities available at Roseville parks. Meet your neighbors, play <br />kid-friendly games, bounce in the bounce castle, watch a performance of the puppet wagon <br />and enjoy refreshments and other family events. <br />Discover Your Parks festivities will run from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m. at the following parks: <br />July 19 Woodhill Park, 2724 Western Ave. N <br />July 26 Langton Lake Park, 1894 County Road C2 <br />August 2 Howard Johnson Park, 1260 Woodhill Dr. <br />August 9 Keller-Mayflower Park, 2070 Fernwood St. <br />August 16 Central Park Arboretum, 2525 Dale St. <br />Transportation Plan Update <br />The City of Roseville is looking for residents to take part in a transportation focus group. <br />As part of Rosevilles Comprehensive Plan Update, the City is updating its Transportation Plan <br />and Pathway Master Plan. On Thursday, July 20, the Public Works Department will host an open <br />house from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at City Hall to solicit feedback from residents on various <br />transportation topics. <br />The meeting will outline details of the current Transportation Plan and discuss possible changes <br />to the plan based on traffic volumes, crash data, and congestion levels. <br />For questions or additional information, please contact City Engineer Jesse Freihammer at 651- <br />792-7042 or Jesse.Freihammer@cityofroseville.com. <br /> <br />
