REDA Meeting <br /> Minutes—Monday,September 25,2017 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Etten moved, McGehee seconded, adoption of REDA Resolution No.12 <br /> (Attachment C) entitled, "Resolution Approving Third Amendment to <br /> Purchase and Development Contract between the Roseville Economic <br /> Development Authority and Journey Home, Minnesota." <br /> Ayes: 5 <br /> Nays: 0 <br /> Motion carried. <br /> b. Adopt Resolution Recommending Approval of REDA 2018 Levy <br /> Executive Director Trudgeon summarized preliminary budget for review and <br /> recommendation to the City Council, as previously presented to the EDA on <br /> August 28, 2017. Mr. Trudgeon advised that the maximum amount the EDA <br /> could levy in 2018 was $758,568; with the recommended preliminary proposed <br /> at $360,150, representing a $0.51 cent reduction to annual property taxes for <br /> median-valued homes in Roseville. Mr. Trudgeon noted that no additional <br /> staff, programs or services were proposed; with a total cost for the EDA staff <br /> in 2018 anticipated to be $205,340. <br /> President Roe offered an opportunity for public comment with no one <br /> appearing to speak to this issue. <br /> McGehee moved, Etten seconded, adoption of REDA Resolution No. 13 <br /> (Attachment) entitled, "A Resolution Requesting a Tax Levy in 2017 <br /> Collectible in 2018;"recommending a Preliminary Levy of$360,150. <br /> Ayes: 5 <br /> Nays: 0 <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 10.
