McGehee moved, Willmus seconded, directing staff to refer Option E to the Finance Commission for their response and recommendation before March of 2018. Councilmember Willmus stated that he was with providing even more flexibility in the timeline for Finance Commission review. Councilmember McGehee stated her preference for their review to be completed before March of 2018. While supportive of the motion, Councilmember Etten questioned if the deadline allowed for sufficient time for their review, suggesting that May of 2018 may be more feasible. Mayor Roe suggested that the motion stand as is with the March deadline to de- termine if the Finance Commission were able to complete their recommendations while providing incentive for them to do so. Roll Call Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee and Roe. Nays: None. McGehee moved, Willmus seconded, adoption of Resolution No. 11448 (At- tachment B) entitled, "Resolution Directing the County Auditor to Adjust the Approved Tax Levy for 2018 Bonded Debt" as presented. Willmus moved, Laliberte seconded, adoption of Resolution No. 11449 (At- tachment C) entitled, "Resolution Adopting the Preliminary 2018 Annual Budget for the City of Roseville" as presented. At the request of Councilmember Etten, Finance Director Miller clarified that, un- like the levy, the budget can be adjusted either up or down, after this point. Roll Call Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee and Roe. Nays: None. e. Adopt the 2018 Preliminary EDA Tax Levy Finance Director Miller briefly summarized the recommended Preliminary EDA Budget as detailed in the RCA as revised, providing comparison levies from 2014-2017.
