Roll Call <br /> Mayor Roe called the meeting to order at approximately 6:08 p.m. Voting and Seating <br /> Order: Willmus, Etten, McGehee, Laliberte and Roe. Assistant City Manager Rebecca <br /> Olson and City Attorney Mark Gaughan were also present. City Manager Trudgeon had <br /> previously advised that he would be out-of-town for this meeting at the International City <br /> Managers' Association (ICMA) conference. <br /> 2. Pledge of Allegiance <br /> 3. Approve Agenda <br /> Councilmember Laliberte requested removal of Item 9.f from the Consent Agenda for <br /> separate consideration. <br /> Willmus moved, Etten seconded, approval of the agenda as amended <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Etten, McGehee, Laliberte and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 3. Public Comment <br /> 4. Recognitions, Donations and Communications <br /> a. Proclaim November National Native American Heritage Month <br /> Mayor Roe read an amended proclamation declaring November 2017 as National <br /> Native American Heritage Month in the City of Roseville, urging all citizens to <br /> join in appreciation for our rich and diverse community. Mayor Roe noted that <br /> the amendments had been recommended after input from some members of the <br /> Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement Commission (HRIEC) after distribu- <br /> tion of tonight's meeting materials. <br /> Etten moved, McGehee seconded, proclaimed November 2017 as National Native <br /> American Heritage Month in the City of Roseville; as amended to include <br /> "theme"in the fifth "Whereas..."paragraph; and to include the word "Nation- <br /> al" before "Native American Heritage Month..." as part of the "Now, There- <br /> fore Be It Resolved..."statement <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Etten, McGehee, Laliberte and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br />
