Also, with ongoing reports of lead pipes in homes, Councilmember Willmus asked <br />the PWETC to provide more information on whether this is a problem in Roseville <br />homes, including potentially with lead used in copper joint sweatings. <br />Chair Cihacek advised that the PWETC had previously discussed that with staff, <br />and had understood that lead pipes were not a major issue in Roseville due to the <br />age of its housing stock; but stated they would ask staff to provide that study <br />information to the City Council as well. <br />Mayor Roe noted that at the time of the Flint, M,A,ues and news reports, city staff <br />had reported that the city's own systemAdidn'ead in it butagreed that homes <br />were an entirely different aspect that ner clarification. <br />Councilmember Willmus reiterated 'Snding out if there were any <br />erosion or exposure issues from 1 d in thosjoint sweatings. <br />Councilmember Laliberte tha the PWETC )yrk. Going forward, <br />Councilmember Laliberte agree ith the need for a repoiAe the delamination <br />issue and what had been learned to -date as it affected the city's existing policy and <br />future revisions to it if needed. <br />Specific to solar energyIC'ouncil4 her Laliberte stated that she was in agreement <br />with the &paunfilthc fagility use wascompted for all city buildings. <br />Cou berte clan(related <br />he�een a proponent of the sewer <br />warran y program; and Contineld estions from residents on the <br />homeowner's responsibility past to street repair, recognizing that <br />remained conside angste unknowns. <br />While ps not being un city's purview, Councilmember Laliberte <br />suggested hat Roseville and other cities and MnDOT consider going beyond <br />iscussions mplaints about problematic bus routes in Roseville, and make <br />al recom dations to Metro Transit for improved routes and/or stops to <br />i ve service. <br />Speci i affic, Councilmember Laliberte noted the number of complaints she'd <br />fielded o the last two years about traffic pressure points in Roseville, as well as <br />being cognizant of the Metropolitan Council's suggestions to add more housing <br />density to the community. Along with robust development of various commercial <br />areas in Roseville that was all good, Councilmember Laliberte noted the problems <br />encountered by many residents on those major roadways who now can't get out of <br />their driveways (e.g. Hamlin Avenue). Councilmember Laliberte asked that the <br />PWETC consider those pressure points, whether city, county or state roads, and <br />include them on the priority radar to determine what if any relief could be provided. <br />
