The widths of these lanes vary between 5- <br />10feet, depending on speed andAverage DailyTrafji'e on the road. <br />SL = Shared Lane;Any roadway upon which a bicycle lane is not designated and which may he <br />legally used by bicycles whether or not suehfaedity is specifically designated as a bikeway. The <br />standard driving lane is to he shared between vehicles and light trafe. <br />WOL -Wide Outside Lane; Any roadway upon which a bicycle lane is not designated and which <br />may he legally used by bicycles whether or not sueh facility is specifically designated as a <br />bikeway. A widened outside driving lane, 14 feet or greater, is to he shared between vehicles <br />and 4g4t-�hieveles. <br />T = Trail; An off road pathway that is S- 12 feet wide that is generally shared use, designed for the <br />use ofhieyeles, in-line skaters andpedestrians. <br />SS -Striped Shoulder; A portion at the edge of a paved road surface that is contiguous with the <br />road surface and separated by striping at least 4 feet wide. <br />3. Develop pathways around every lake, to and in every park and open space. <br />3.1. Pathway development around lakes will be designed to provide, at minimum, views to the <br />lake. <br />
