Chapter X: Transportation <br />Introduction <br />The City of Roseville boasts a robust, complex, multimodal transportation system that includes <br />facilities for vehicles, freight, walking, bicycling and transit. These facilities are operated by a <br />number of agencies including the City of Roseville, Ramsey County, the Minnesota Department <br />of Transportation (MnDOT) and the Minnesota Commercial Railway (MNNR). Metro Transit <br />also provides local and regional transit service in and around the City of Roseville. <br />This transportation chapter has been prepared in compliance with State of Minnesota Statutes <br />and applicable Metropolitan Council guidelines. As part of this Plan, the City has reviewed <br />existing and future conditions for each mode and identified safety, operations, and network <br />improvements that will be important to address over the 2040 planning horizon. The City has <br />also developed goals and strategies to preserve and improve the transportation system. <br />This transportation plan includes the following information: <br />1.
