Related <br /> to data security, Mayor Roe agreed that the ability to edit videos was very re- <br /> stricted as to who and why; and encouraged the public to view the policy on the <br /> city's website. As to the susceptibility to hacking, Mayor Roe recognized that all <br /> private data collected was at risk. <br /> Councilmember McGehee opined that a request such as this required more infor- <br /> mation to be included in the packet (e.g. bids, prices, how decision-making was <br /> made) and how things linked together. Councilmember McGehee opined that she <br /> didn't think she was alone in saying that the actual cost over the next two years <br /> was not clear to her, and further opined that it should be. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Laliberte, Willmus, Etten and Roe. <br /> Nays: McGehee. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> C. Approve General Purchases of Sale of Surplus Items Exceeding$5,000 <br /> At the request of Mayor Roe, City Manager Trudgeon briefly highlighted this <br /> item as detailed in the Request for Council Action (RCA) and related attachments <br /> dated November 27, 2017. <br /> Councilmember McGehee reiterated her point that another CIP opportunity was <br /> needed to review expenditures. <br /> Mayor Roe clarified that CIP expenditures were outlined in the twenty-year CIP <br /> documentation and spreadsheet, as well in Attachment A to this request. <br /> Willmus moved, Etten seconded, approval of general purchases and contracts for <br /> services as noted in the RCA and Attachment A entitled, "2017 Summary of <br /> Scheduled CIP Items,"updated October 31, 2017. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Laliberte, Willmus, Etten and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> Abstentions: McGehee <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 7.
