Roll Call <br /> Mayor Roe called the meeting to order at approximately 6:15 p.m. Voting and Seating <br /> Order: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee and Roe. City Manager Trudgeon and City <br /> Attorney Mark Gaughan were also present. As Mayor Roe previously noted, Coun- <br /> cilmember Willmus had previously advised that, due to a previous meeting, he would be <br /> later in arriving at tonight's meetings. <br /> 2. Pledge of Allegiance <br /> 3. Approve Agenda <br /> On behalf of a request to him by Councilmember Willmus earlier today, Mayor Roe <br /> asked for removal of Consent Agenda item 9.c for separate consideration; and suggested <br /> that due to Councilmember Willmus' delay, items removed from tonight's Consent <br /> Agenda be taken up immediately after Business Items. <br /> McGehee moved, Etten seconded, approval of the agenda as amended. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Laliberte, Etten, McGehee and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 4. Public Comment <br /> 5. Recognitions, Donations and Communications <br /> 6. Items Removed from Consent Agenda <br /> 7. Business Items <br /> a. Sheriff Serier, Ramsey County Sheriff <br /> Ramsey County Chief Deputy Sheriff Steve Fraiser was welcomed by Mayo Roe <br /> for an annual update of the department's activities and events. Chief Deputy <br /> Fraiser thanked the city for the invite and provided a brief background of his law <br /> enforcement service, originating with the City of Roseville at the start of his ca- <br /> reer. Chief Deputy Fraiser advised that Sheriff Serier was double booked for <br /> meetings tonight, and extended the Sheriff's greetings to the community. <br /> Chief Deputy Fraiser reported that the department now had 100 new employees — <br /> sworn and non-sworn—with the jail now fully-staffed; with the Sheriff's initiative <br /> for and commitment to racial and gender equity met throughout that hiring pro- <br />
