Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday, December 4, 2017 <br /> Page 27 <br /> Mayor Roe agreed with the comments of Councilmember Etten, and given the <br /> quick turnaround for this request and approval, expressed hope that this provided <br /> evidence to the Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement Commission (HRIEC) <br /> of the City Council's commitment toward a good working relationship that could <br /> be further built upon going forward. <br /> Etten moved, McGehee seconded, approval of a donation in an amount not to ex- <br /> ceed $150.00 to Roseville Area High School for their "One World Multicultural <br /> Show, scheduled on March 29, 2018. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> L Confirm Citizen Advisory Commission Reappointment/Appointment Sched- <br /> ule <br /> Councilmember Laliberte expressed concern with the number of current commis- <br /> sioners not seeking reappointment; and as talked about in the past, reiterated her <br /> interest in the benefit of exit interviews to hear commissioner experiences for <br /> learning from and improving upon. <br /> City Manager Trudgeon agreed with that great suggestion; and advised that staff <br /> intended to implement exit interviews as a best practice as part of the process <br /> moving forward. <br /> Councilmember Etten offered his support for an exit interview practice. <br /> Etten moved, McGehee seconded, approval of the proposed schedule and process <br /> to interview current commissioners seeking reappointment as presented; and ap- <br /> proval of the proposed schedule for advertising for new applicants and a respec- <br /> tive application deadline and interview schedule as presented. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 10. Council& City Manager Communications, Reports, and Announcements <br /> At the recent League of Minnesota Cities (LMC) Regional Meeting attended by Mayor <br /> Roe and Councilmember Laliberte, Councilmember Laliberte reported that legislative <br /> priorities had been past. Councilmember Laliberte commended City Manager Trudgeon <br /> for his comprehensive compilation of those items to the City Council at the last meeting, <br /> including those relative to the City of Roseville. <br /> Also, having attended the Ramsey County League of Local Government (RCLLG) meet- <br /> ing held this past week and the first held since May of 2017, Councilmember Laliberte <br />
