REDA Meeting <br /> Minutes—Monday,December 4,2017 <br /> Page 3 <br /> At the request of Member Etten, Ms. Kelsey clarified that the address listed in <br /> the staff report for potential use of these funds was related to the company's <br /> proposed new headquarters. <br /> President Roe noted that while the draft resolution set an interest rate, the city <br /> retained flexibility to determine the interest percentage at any point. <br /> Ms. Kelsey confirmed that statement; and noted that the proposed interfund <br /> loan was a safeguard allowing reimbursement of city costs in case the <br /> development doesn't move forward. <br /> President Roe offered an opportunity for public comment with no one <br /> appearing to speak to this issue. <br /> McGehee moved, Laliberte seconded, adoption of EDA Resolution No. 15 <br /> (Attachment A) entitled, "Resolution Authorizing Interfund Loan for Advance <br /> of Certain Costs in Connection with Proposed Tax Increment Financing <br /> District No. 1-20 (McGough)." <br /> Ayes: 4 <br /> Nays: 0 <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 8. Approve Consent Agenda <br /> At the request of President Roe, City Manager Trudgeon briefly highlighted those <br /> items being considered under the Consent Agenda; and as detailed in specific <br /> Requests for REDA Action and related attachments dated December 4, 2017. <br /> Included in that review was Mr. Trudgeon's advisement that the initial 2018 REDA <br /> meeting schedule had an error in the October meeting date; and as evidenced in the <br /> new draft schedule provided as a bench handout, had been corrected. <br /> a. Adopt 2018 Meeting Calendar <br /> McGehee moved, Etten seconded, approval of the 2018 REDA meeting <br /> calendar as amended. <br /> Ayes: 4 <br /> Nays: 0 <br /> Motion carried. <br /> b. 2018 Contracts for Services <br /> McGehee moved, Etten seconded, approval of respective service contracts as <br /> presented in Attachments, A, B, C, D, E and F for legal, technical and <br /> professional specialty services for 2018. <br /> Ayes: 4 <br /> Nays: 0 <br />
