Wood <br />3060 West Owasso Boulevard <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br />Dear Gary: <br />As I look across the green landscape, my mind has drifted to activities on Lake Owasso, which reminded <br />me to provide members of the Task Force an update on the Task Force recommendations. <br />Following is a chronology of activities since the Task Force presented its recommendation. <br />• June---City contracts with Ramsey County to pr.ovide 36 additional hours of law enforcement <br />services on Lake Owasso. The additional hours were scheduled primarily during the July 4 and <br />Labor Day holiday periods. <br />• September—Shoreview approves ordinance and Joint Powers Agreement. <br />• September=Roseville approves ordinance and Joint Powers Agreement (enclosed). <br />• September�rdinances and Joint Powers Agreement are provided to the Department of Natural <br />Resources for review. <br />• November—DNR notiiies Roseville and Shoreview that the ordinances have been approved. <br />• December—letter mailed to Owasso lake shore property owners providing information regarding <br />the Joint Powers Agreement. <br />• Decembet—letter mailed to Terry Schutten, Ramsey County Manager, seeking direction regarding <br />Task Forc� recommendations involving the County. <br />Thank you again for volunteering to participate on the Task Force.
