Oct 30, 7 PM <br />"Ground rules" - <br />Shaze informational materials with otiier members prior to meetings: give them to Steve North by <br />Thursday prior to Wednesday meetings so they may be copied and mailed to members. <br />Contact Steve North or Marty Olsen at the city for help (490-2202). <br />The task force should act by unanimous consensus as much as possible. <br />Task force charg,e - <br />After introductions, Steve Sarkozy reviewed some of the issues which might be considered by <br />the taslc force, including - <br />environmental, enforcement, safety, interest groups (individuals, special uses, groups, public, <br />property owners), legal issues, jurisdiction. Added to the list were- history of use%ther <br />metro lakes, geese problems, purple loosestrife, pumping/water level. <br />Questions - <br />Could we ever go back to a 300' ordinance? <br />Would all Rosaville lakes be aff�ected by an ordinance change? <br />The task force will convey info to the public via task force meetings and/or letters, and will <br />receive input by solicitation of public comment either in meetings at our discretion, or by <br />survey. <br />Other local lake associations are very interested in our findings, and our work fits into the goals <br />of VISTA 2000 (per Steve Sarkozy). <br />Shoreview is very interested in our conclusions, as participants in any Joint Powers agreement <br />regarding Owasso, and as the generators of the proposed 150' no-wake buffer ordinance. <br />Agenda items for 10/2 - <br />Identify all issues which may impinge on regulations for Owasso. <br />Assess and prioritize issues❑. <br />Identify committee's needs, potential guests and/or information sources. <br />Identify agendas for guests to address. <br />Assign tasks. � <br />Identify legal questions for t�e city attorney so they can be referred in writing prior to the <br />attorne�s presence at the 10/16 meeting. <br />
