LETTER FROM LIEUTENANT BERGERON <br />In the attached letter Lieutenant Bergeron, of the Sheriff s Water Patrol, confirms it has <br />been the County's policy to request a recommendation from the city when an <br />application is made for a lake use permit. He sees no reason for the department to <br />change this policy in the future. If the city were to recommend denial, the Sheriff would <br />want to know the justification. If they didn't agree with the justification, they may still <br />issue the permit. � <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion adopting attached resolution. <br />
