Division / Program:Nuisance Code Enforcement <br /> <br />Organizational Responsibility: Community Development Director <br />Division / Program Description <br />The Nuisance Code Enforcement Programprovides for the general welfare of the community by ensuring <br />citizens can have public nuisance issues addressed and eliminated, and, ensuring that various public safety <br />and health standards are maintained. It also includes adjustments reflecting changes in personnel allocation for <br />Community Development Staff. <br />2014/2015 Achievements <br />Addressed over 350 public nuisance concerns brought to the City by residents with over 80% <br />resolved within 20 days. <br />With education efforts, enforcement efforts and the introduction of the Neighborhood <br />Enhancement Program, the numbers of nuisance complaints received from residents has been <br />going down over the last few years. <br />Staff continuesto receive, and promptly address,Immediate Threats inresidential neighborhoods <br />(such as unguarded pools, dangerous building conditions, etc.). <br />74 <br /> <br />
