It also includes adjustments reflecting changes in personnel allocation for <br />Community Development Staff. <br />2014/2015 Achievements <br />The Rental License Program is now up and running. Property owners have been educated on the <br />process and virtually all are cooperating. <br />Staff has completed the initial inspection cycle, the 6-month renewal cycle and are in process of <br />the 1 year renewal inspection cycle. <br />A total of 162 properties and over 1000 individual units received inspections in the initial cycle. <br />Approximately 950 violations (some minor, some major) were observed with re-inspections <br />verifying the violations are being corrected. This includes the addition of approximately 2500 <br />smoke detectors (mostly in bedrooms) which are a significant and proven life-safety feature <br />75 <br /> <br />
