Division / Program:Neighborhood Enhancement Program <br /> <br />Organizational Responsibility: Community Development Director <br />Division / Program Description <br />The Neighborhood Enhancement Programraises community awareness regarding the value of keeping <br />homes and business properties in good repair in-order to maintain quality neighborhoods, maintain <br />profitable business areas, and, protect property values. This provides a safer community for all residents, <br />and provides for enhanced neighborhood livability and property values.The Program’s activities are <br />accounted for in the EDA Fund. <br />2017Goals and Objectives <br />To raise awareness of the importance of keeping homes and properties in good repair which <br />maintains quality neighborhoods and protect property values. <br />To encourage residents and business owners to address building/property maintenance and nuisance <br />issues when they are small.
