Division / Program:Street Lighting <br />Organizational Responsibility: Public Works Director <br />Division / Program Description <br />Street Lighting provides for the maintenance of safe, well-lit signaled streets for the community and its <br />visitors, customers, and guests.Xcel Energy maintains public streetlights under contract with the City. <br />Ramsey Countycontractually maintains city owned intersection signal lights.The Program’s activities are <br />accounted for in the General Fund. <br />2018Goals and Objectives <br />Replace or upgrade the oldest city-owned street light system components. <br />Begin a signal painting program.
