He recognized there were an increased number of senior
developments in the City and he wanted to be assured the transit system was
adjusting to meet the needs of these seniors.

Chair Cihacek reported this portion of the document was describing the state of the
City's current transit system.
N
Mr. Culver commented on Page 59 staff addressed the City's eight transit strategies.
He explained a reference point could be added on Page 41 to point readers to this
cross reference.

Member Wozniak recommended the item on Page 46 be reworded to read: Ensure
that the transportation network is prepared for changing transportation technologies
and modes and can accommodate aging population that was less reliant on vehicles.

Mr. Culver suggested the word changing be swapped to emerging.
F
Chair Cihacek was of the opinion the current language was adequate.

Member Wozniak explained he wanted this language to address how transportation
was changing along with demographics.

Chair Cihacek recommended this section be reworded to read: Ensure that the
transportation network is prepared for changing technologies, modes and
demographics.
