Roger Toogood, 601 Terrace Court, stated he attended a public forum and had
concerns with three items within the Transportation Plan. He encouraged the City
to consider turn lanes within new developments. He recommended the City
Council and City staff provide strong leadership on the redevelopment of Highway
36. He suggested the City consider improved signage for seniors given the fact the
population of seniors was on the rise. He commended the City on the great work
they do for their residents and stated he was a proud resident of the City of
Roseville.

Chair Cihacek encouraged Mr. Toogood to provide staff with further information
on the intersections that needed turn lanes.

Member Wozniak stated he had fourteen items to address. He requested staff turn
to Page 31. He reported the table (Table 6) was duplicated from Page 13. He
suggested this table be replaced with a table that highlights the five major arterial
roadways within the City that were over capacity.

Chair Cihacek suggested the table be labeled "Highly Congested Routes".

Member Wozniak recommended Driverless Vehicles and the potential impacts on
traffic be addressed within Section 3.2. He stated he was disappointed WSB was
not present to address this matter.

Chair Cihacek commented he did not belio be pertinent.

Member Seigler agreed stating the technology was just not there yet, but perhaps
in 10 years.

Member Wozniak stated on Page 33 he would like to have staff consider how bikes
are changing. He noted electric bicycles were becoming more affordable and could
become a more popular mode of transportation.

Mr. Culver indicated this Section could be amended to include modernized bicycles
as a form of transportation.

Member Wozniak stated the important part was for staff to understand that bicycles
were changing. He suggested on Page 37 that Roselawn Avenue be added to the
RBT corridors identified in the City. He stated the City needed an east/west
corridor south of Highway 36.

Mr. Culver explained this plan was a reflection of the Met Council and County's
plans and he would need to see their reaction to this recommendation. He stated he
could add a note regarding Roselawn Avenue being explored as a future corridor.

Chair Cihacek recommended the language remain as is.
