262 Member Seigler asked if the City had any concerns with trains loaded with fuel was <br />263 a concern for the City. <br />264 <br />265 Mr. Freihammer explained these trains ran along Rice Street into St. Paul and <br />266 through New Brighton. He described how these trains had become silent and no <br />267 longer had to whistle at each intersection which had reduced the number of <br />268 complaints in the City. Items for Next Meeting <br />283 Discussion ensued regarding the January PWETC agenda: <br />284 • Facilities Study Presentation — Mr. Culver commented this study should be <br />285 available and will be presented to the Commission. r <br />286 • Eureka Presentation — Mr. Culver noted Eureka would be providing the <br />287 Commission with their Annual Report. <br />288 • Update on Organics Recycling — Mr. Culver reported the Commission would <br />289 be receiving an update on organics recycling from Eureka. <br />290 r <br />291 Chair Cihacek asked if organics recycling was available within City of Roseville <br />292 buildings. <br />293 <br />294 Mr. Culver reported this was not available in City buildings. <br />295 <br />296 Chair Cihacek suggested this option be explored for City Hall and Public Works <br />297 staff. He anticipated there was room for another dumpster to allow for organics <br />298 recycling. <br />299 <br />300 Mr. Culver stated the Commission could address this further in January. He <br />301 discussed how short parking was on the Roseville campus and feared how another <br />302 dumpster would impact this situation. He explained City Hall just currently was not <br />303 set up for that. He anticipated this situation would change in 2019. <br />304 <br />305 Chair Cihacek recommended organics recycling be considered internally at City <br />306 Hall and what steps would need to be taken to implement this type of recycling on <br />307 the entire campus. <br />Page 7 of 8 <br />
